I have a more positive outlook today and think I will hold onto it for the rest of the week - actually for as along as I can. I finally feel that i have turned a corner and that everything is ok and as it should be.
I am hoping to put a plan together with a friend of all the things we want to do and achieve over the next few months, so far my plan consists of:
1. Learn to handstand properly and be able to walk on my hands.
2. Be brave enough to hold a slow worm
3. Buy a hula hoop - a pink one - and 'hula' once a day
I have great ambition.

hula hoops are wonderful, and a pink one is especially wonderful.
i'm always reminded of the hudsucker proxy when i think of hula hoops, and that can only ever be a good thing.
'you know, for kids' and if you've never seen that movie you will have no idea what i'm talking about. eep!
Where will you go to hold a slow worm?
I love slow worms. I really like giant millipedes too. They are as big as a small snake and shiny like a conker, with a gazillion legs that move in ripples like little mexican waves.
I have tried to find a hula hoop but they are all so small - they don't really 'hula' around my middle! I am sure they used to be HUGE - or was it because I was so small and now I am not.
Emily - sorry! I have no idea what you are talking about as have never seen that movie - but I will add it to my list of things to do/see.
Sally, there are plenty of slow worms in my mums garden, I am building up the courage to find one. I can see the appeal with millipedes - I like watching them ripple, but the thought of all those legs!! eek!
Maybe we can find a slow worm this weekend?!
